Our Mum and Baby Yoga classes provide a nurturing and inclusive space for parents to bond with their babies, prioritise self-care, and connect with a supportive community. Led by an experienced teacher with a passion for postnatal wellness, Rosie’s classes focus on gentle yoga practices, baby bonding, and mindfulness techniques to help you through the journey of parenthood.

Mum and Baby Yoga classes offer gentle yet effective exercises to support postpartum physical recovery. These practices help mothers regain strength in the core and pelvic floor muscles, promoting healing and alleviating discomfort commonly experienced after childbirth.

So much of the preparation into parenthood focuses on labour and birth. Then starts the journey of parenthood — and th focus is often almost solely on the baby. In these classes, you will learn to trust your inner wisdom, and how to find relief from the inner critic that may be convincing you that you’re not a good enough parent for your little one.

Little by little, you will cultivate compassion, patience and kindness towards yourself. And this authentic modelling will is a powerful method of showing children to prioritise their own self-care in years to come!

Our classes provide a weekly setting where you can honour the miracle of pregnancy, connect with your baby, and nurture yourself in body, mind, and spirit. With our guidance and support, you’ll cultivate a deeper sense of self-awareness, resilience, and empowerment that will serve you not only during pregnancy but into motherhood.

“The Yoga Nook holds such wonderful memories for me as I attended mum & baby classes with my newborn. He was a very unsettled baby and the classes were a chance for me to get to chat to other mums while getting in some movement. I still now attend the Flow classes and Rosie caters to everyone, if she feels like someone in the class is struggling she will slow it down a little and she’s always checking in with her class members at the start and end of class.

Health insurance

We’re pleased to inform you that our Parent and Baby Yoga classes are eligible for coverage through health insurance. 

 

Who can join?

Birth mothers need to be cleared for gentle postpartum exercise. This tends to be anywhere from 6-12 weeks, depending on how postpartum recovering is going for you.
Non-birth mothers, dads, and any guardians are so welcome to join in this inclusive space. 
If you have twins and would like to attend with another pair of helping hands please email me for twin rates.
